Randy Rivera is Executive Director of FinTEx, trade association focused on expanding Chicago’s role as an epicenter of innovation in FinTech. FinTEx supports start-ups, corporate innovators and investors interested in contributing to the FinTech ecosystem.
Randy is principal of keen advisors, where he works with companies on strategies for growth and innovation. He also co-founded quointec, a regtech that leverages tech to automate legal and compliance advice.
Prior to his current work, Randy was at BBVA Compass and JPMorgan Chase working with and leading teams in commercial and private banking.
Randy graduated from Georgetown University with degrees in English and Government. He also attended the University of Chicago’s Booth School for an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Randy sits on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Public Libraries Foundation and ACCION Chicago and volunteers as a mentor at the University of Chicago's Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship.
