Tendai Dube is the Chief Operating Officer for Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Technology at Absa Group, where she leads technology strategy and operations across Pan-Africa and key international corridors, including the United States, United Kingdom, China, and the UAE. She drives innovation and operational excellence, delivering resilient platforms that enable business growth and meaningful client impact across diverse markets.

With more than 15 years of experience in the IT sector, Tendai brings deep expertise in leadership, technology strategy, data, program and project management, and consulting. She previously served as Technology Strategy and Advisory Lead for Alternative Platforms at Accenture, where she built new capabilities leveraging emerging technologies for Growth Markets clients. She also held the role of Director and Head of Africa Technology Operations at Absa, overseeing strategic programs, governance, risk, and cross-border operations across South Africa and India.

Her leadership and innovation extend beyond the workplace. At Hult, she organized a nine-hour global Codathon and Business Challenge spanning four continents and presented a winning fintech mobile money solution enabling cross-border payments and inclusive lending. She also directed Absa’s 2024 Technology Hackathon, mobilizing 36 teams across six countries under the ‘10X Impact’ theme.
