Shruti Patel is Chief Product Officer for the Business Banking Segment at U.S. Bank. She is responsible for delivering an integrated product strategy that connects banking, payments and software for business clients with up to $50 million in revenue.

Shruti has two decades of financial services experience, with a mix of banking, payments and fintech. Prior to joining U.S. Bank, she led partnerships and monetization at Shopify, managing financial services, retail and cross-border partnerships and monetization strategies. Previously, she led digital payments products and partnerships at JPMorgan Chase, managing a suite of embedded payment services relevant to its card and consumer bank customers.

Before Chase, Shruti spent 11 years at American Express where she worked within the Corporate and Merchant Services units, across strategy, business development and product management.

As a testament to Shruti’s accomplishments and leadership in the industry, she was featured in American Banker’s 2023 ‘Most Influential Women in Payments’ and 2025 ‘Most Powerful Women in Banking Top Teams’ lists. She was also included in the top 10 of Women We Admire’s ‘Top 50 Women Chief Product Officers of 2025’ list. Under Shruti’s leadership, the U.S. Bank Business Banking Product team has been recognized with multiple awards. Most recent awards include Tearsheet ‘Best Bank for SMBs’ and ‘Best New Product’ awards in 2025, and Greenwich Coalition ‘Best Bank – Data and Analytics for Small Business Banking in the U.S.’ and ‘Best Bank – Trust for Small Business Banking in the U.S.’ awards in 2026.

Shruti resides with her family in New York City and is an avid fan of football and tennis.
