Rafael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a Master’s degree in Electronic Commerce from the same institution, and a Master’s degree in Senior Management from IPADE Business School. In 2026, he earned a PhD in Management from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.

He has more than 25 years of professional experience in Marketing, Sales, and Digital Transformation across multiple industries, including Banking, Retail, E-commerce, Education, and Logistics, as well as experience as an entrepreneur.

As a professor, ee has served at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Centro de Estudios Universitarios, Universidad del Valle de México, and Universidad Tec Milenio, and has been a faculty member at Tecnológico de Monterrey for over 12 years.

Currently, Rafael serves as Executive Director of Digital Banking at Grupo Financiero Banorte, where he leads the transformation of digital channels for retail banking, corporate banking, ecosystems, and open banking, guided by a clear customer-centric vision.
