Biography

Lee Chen is the Deputy Director at the Central Bank of Malaysia, where she leads the delivery of business IT solutions and innovation to support policy agility, resilient payment and business systems, and organisational transformation. She specialises in developing responsible, human-centred innovations, particularly in AI and data-driven systems, within the Bank’s core institutional functions.

With extensive experience in commercial and transaction banking, strategy, and organisational transformation, Lee Chen has held senior roles at Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad and other global financial institutions. She has also led award-winning digital transformation initiatives and contributed to talent development programs.

Lee Chen is a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, holds executive credentials from Columbia Business School, and is an Agile Scrum practitioner, as well as a qualified Strengths Coach. Her expertise spans digital innovation, governance, and organisational agility, making her a valued contributor to discussions on the future of technology and financial systems.
