Chris is CEO of DOKU, one of the largest online and offline payments fintech (Payments Service Provider) with operations in Indonesia and Malaysia and with over 300,000 merchants. As CEO, Chris is responsible for the strategy, P&L, tech and operations for a 500 person company. Prior to this, Chris spent 6 years at Grab, in senior leadership roles as Managing Director for GrabPay, Grab Ventures and Group Strategy. In these roles, Chris covered ride hailing, food delivery, strategic investments, fundraising and launching/ shutting down new ventures within Grab across industries such as cloud kitchens, online media, healthcare and eScooter sharing.

Before Grab, Chris worked in various regional leadership roles including leading APAC Strategy for PayPal, Boston Consulting Group, Arthur D. Little and Singapore Airlines. Chris has an MBA from Kellogg, MSc in Finance from the University of London and a BSc Engineering & BA Economics double degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Chris works in Jakarta, but lives in Singapore and travels extensively across South East Asia.
