Context and location matter in a mobile world. Thanks to the ubiquity of cellphones and ever-improving geolocation technology, banks, credit cards and payment companies have been presented with a new paradigm for consumer app engagement and customer experience. Foursquare has spent eight years perfecting its understanding of location and how consumers move through the world. With new technology that Foursquare has been rolling out in 2017, we’re empowering payment and financial service companies with background location abilities and data analytics that allow them to better understand their app users, leverage contextual awareness and reengage with them based on location. In an on-stage solo presentation, Foursquare Director of Business Development, Evan Kracoff can evaluate the impact of geolocation data on payment and financial service industries. Evan will share deep insights into the latest technology and how mobile geolocation data is collected, assess best practices for leveraging accurate location data for financial tech, mobile banking, and payments businesses, and explain what these companies need to understand about location before diving in. Evan can share a case studies showing how Foursquare has enabled partners in these industries to leverage location intelligence for contextual awareness, personalization, and re-engagement with customers. In a panel discussion, Evan can lead a conversation with potential on-stage representation by American Express, Visa, Capital One, FIS, and Quotient. These companies can discuss how they’ve used location data to lower the cost of false inquiries, boost engagement with mobile wallets, power new mobile banking applications, help customers redeem card-linked offers and more.
