VP, Government Affairs for Europe, the Middle East and Africa | American Express
Adam began his career with the European Commission in Brussels. He was posted to Taiwan as the EU’s Economic and Trade officer and this is where his specialisation in international government affairs began. After the Commission he managed Public Affairs in Asia for Pernod Ricard, one of the world’s largest wines and spirits business, based out of Beijing and Hong Kong. Adam relocated to Europe four years ago to take on a global government affairs role promoting and protecting the interests of the world’s largest brands, focused specifically on marketing regulation (such as consumer protection, data privacy, ad fraud, etc). He was based between Brussels and London, but again spent most of his time doing work in individual markets in Europe and further afield in key markets in Asia, Latin America and Africa.
