Paola Papanicolaou, holds a degree in economics. She is very experienced in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Project Management and Innovation. She has worked in Citibank Greece, in Monte dei Paschi di Siena, in Generali Group, ATKearney and for different Olympic Games Committees.

Since 2018 she is the Group Head of Innovation in Intesa Sanpaolo with the mission to spread and accelerate innovation within the Group. Main focus is to bring innovative solutions to support business transformation. Last year the Innovation team has been in contact with more than 400 fintechs & start ups, deep dived into almost 250 of them, experimented over 20 solutions and delivered to the Group 10 projects that will be experienced from more than 5,2 mln retail customers, 600 SMEs and over 50.000 employees

She is also member of the Advisory Board of Neva Finventures the Group’s CVC.
