At Commerce Ventures, we want to see more diverse founder-led startups in our deal flow, invest in more companies with diverse founders and help open our industry to more diverse talent.

We are pledging to make a difference by seeking out broader dealflow from more diverse sources and yielding more startups led by founders from underrepresented backgrounds.

Where to start: goals to increase diversity & inclusion

1. Commerce Ventures is committed to bringing more diverse talent to our industry by focusing on recruitment, pipeline-building, and mentoring/next-generation programs to build up diverse future leaders.
2. We are launching an Access Fellowship to mentor college students and educate them on the venture and start-up ecosystem in a way that helps expand their prospects and access.
3. Continue to speak about the importance of diversity and our commitment publicly to have our executives and leaders be part of the discussion and solution.
