2015 Money20/20 Hackathon

The 2nd Annual Money20/20 Hackathon brought together 625+ of the world’s most skilled developers with 10 of Fintech’s most influential brands for the Largest Fintech Hackathon Globally. Developers came from 13 countries as far away as China, with 24 hours to showcase their skills and vision using the APIs, SDKs and other tools from today’s leading innovators in Payments and Financial Services.  The outcome was 155+ projects focused on solving the known and unknown challenges of our industry.

Vinod Khosla, Founder, Khosla Ventures joined us for the award ceremony, where more than $125,000 in prizes were given out to 10 winning teams. The Grand Prize Winner, Team Replay, created the first Apple TV app that lets you purchase products you see on screen while you watch your favorite movies.  For their efforts, they took home $20,000, a speaking spot on Money20/20’s Launchpad360°, a kiosk in the exhibit hall and some serious industry notoriety.  Other winners included:
